Alamo Roadway Materials and Interstate Barricades & Markings Partner with TRP Infrastructure Services

Optima Mergers & Acquisitions advised on the simultaneous sale of two Texas roadway infrastructure companies to Arlington Capital-backed TRP

HOUSTON, Texas — August 20, 2026 — Alamo Roadway Materials and Interstate Barricades & Markings have been acquired by TRP Infrastructure Services, a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners. Optima Mergers & Acquisitions served as exclusive M&A advisor to the sellers.

Alamo Roadway Materials manufactures thermoplastic spray and preformed thermoplastic materials for roadway markings, supplying products that meet Federal Highway Administration and Texas Department of Transportation standards across all 25 TxDOT districts. Interstate Barricades & Markings provides traffic control and pavement marking services to highway and infrastructure projects across Texas, with operations serving the Houston and San Antonio markets.

Together, the two companies add complementary manufacturing and field service capabilities to TRP Infrastructure Services, the Fort Worth-based provider of pavement marking, traffic control, and guardrail solutions backed by Arlington Capital Partners since 2021.

“Alamo and Interstate are exceptional businesses that have earned strong reputations in the Texas roadway infrastructure market,” said Lane Carrick, Managing Director of Optima Mergers & Acquisitions, who led the engagement. “Their capabilities are highly complementary to the TRP platform, and we believe the combination creates significant opportunities for the businesses, their employees, and their customers going forward.”

Carrick added: “Our role was to serve as a trusted intermediary for our clients throughout a complex transaction involving a highly sophisticated private equity-backed buyer. That meant understanding the value of each business, positioning their strengths effectively, managing an extensive diligence process, and representing our clients’ interests at every stage of the negotiation. Transactions like this demonstrate the value an experienced sell-side advisor can bring when business owners are negotiating across the table from institutional investors and their advisors.”

Optima Mergers & Acquisitions represented the sellers throughout the transaction, including valuation and positioning, buyer negotiations, diligence management, and negotiation through closing.
